Someone that is willing to give up their seat, so you can have the view.
Someone who you can sit with and never say a word, but share so much in your silence.
Someone you can call in the middle of the night…without making them cross, someone who always picks up the phone..and stays on the line as long as you need them.
That person doesn’t need to live next door, or in the same time zone. They simply need to know you, understand you, accept you, respect you, and know a least a few of your darkest secrets.
I’m so blessed to have a few of these specimens of my very own…and I love each one of them. They are spread across the country from one side to the other…but they are only a phone call away.
Friends come in all shapes and sizes. For the entire time Fuzzy has been rotating around the sun he has had his friend, Froggy, by his side. Froggy accompanied us to the first five years of doctor’s appointments. Froggy stood faithfully by Fuzzy’s side during every major event of his little young life.
Life wouldn’t be complete without someone you can total relax with, yourself around. Take a nap with.
I hope everyone who reads these words has someone they can walk through their life with.
may you all have at least one good friend.
